Let the Stims Begin!

After a visit with Hannah the acupuncturist, tonight was Stim Night #1.

The Good News: It wasn't that bad. And, fortunate for everyone around me, I'm sure it will take awhile for the evil side effects to kick in.

The Bad News: We realized we're probably going to have to buy more medicine. We hadn't really looked at what they sent versus the dosage. And, well, last night we did.

However, today I am focusing my energy on healthy follicle development.

Mental Note to Self: Every ounce of nervous energy is energy that needs to be rerouted to the healthy, beautiful follicles.

Not easy for me, but I'm working on it.

First ultrasound is Monday.

oooh! Yay, you are stimming! We are exactly one day apart - fitting for 2 girls who share a similar blog name :)

GL! I will be looking forward to your updates!

Glad it was easy for you! I didn't really think they were too bad either. Even the PIO didn't bother me too much - as long as they were given in the right spot.

What are you taking? My nurse said that the Lupron side effects wouldn't be "that bad" and I wouldn't notice them for awhile, but the day after I took my first dose, the Lupron rage kicked in. Just so you know!

Good luck! And just as a note, my stims never had any crazy moody side effects. I know you've been through a few stim cycle so far, but maybe it won't be that bad this time around. :)

I'm sending some good positive happy follicle energy your way right now! I will start stimming around the 21st (2 more weeks). I can't wait! By the time I have my ER you should be getting your BFP!

My worst side effects were when I was on BCPs and then lupron. The stims basically just made me weepy towards the end, but that's about all. Yay for stims!

Great news. Are you doing the Follistem pen? Our nurse told us there was more medicine in each cartridge than the box said that there was, for what that's worth. Here's hoping you continue to feel well!!
